Abstract submission deadline: March 3rd, 2025 by 11:59pm EST.
We’d love to hear about your work for this year’s conference! Please submit a summary of your presentation (up to 300 words) for your video presentation or short paper. Along with the summary, please include a 100-word abstract that’s aimed at the audience, helping them get a sense of your work. To submit, you’ll use Oxford Abstracts, which will prompt you to create an account and confirm it via email. Be sure to keep your Submission ID number handy for future reference. We are accepting short paper and video submissions for the 2025 Exchange conference. Please select only one format (i.e. video or short paper) for your submission.
Papers should be written in English, edited for grammatical and technical accuracy, and no more than 1500 words excluding tables, figures, and references.
Here are some basic guidelines for page set-up, style, and formatting. Please review before submitting your short paper.

Submitted presentations should be an investigation of a topic related to this year’s theme, Why Reading Matters to the Future of Learning. Proposals that are accepted as video presentations should be 15 minutes long (maximum) and will be professionally recorded with the help of an Exchange videographer. Final production pieces will have the presentation on the left of the screen and speaker on the right like so:
