Deep Reading: Insights from the Reading Brain
with Maryanne Wolf & Eric Mazur

Maryanne Wolf is a scholar, teacher, and global advocate for literacy. Wolf completed her doctorate at Harvard University, in the Department of Human Development and Psychology, where she began her work in cognitive neuroscience and psycholinguistics on the reading brain, language, and dyslexia. She directs UCLA’s Center for Dyslexia, Diverse Learners, and Social Justice. She has published four books connecting reading with brain science: Reader, Come Home: The Reading Brain in a Digital World, Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain, Tales of Literacy for the 21st Century, and Dyslexia, Fluency and the Brain. She was elected a permanent member of the Pontifical Academy of Science.

Perusall Exchange® is an annual community conference that brings together educators to collaborate through both synchronous and asynchronous sessions on our platform.
